Who We Are?

The Federation of Education Consultancy Entrepreneurs (FECE) Nepal is the national apex federation representing education consultancy associations across Nepal. Established to provide unified leadership and institutional coordination, FECE Nepal serves as a central platform that brings together recognized associations working within the education consultancy sector.

FECE Nepal was formed with the objective of strengthening collaboration among member associations while promoting responsible consultancy practices, professional integrity, and sector-wide accountability. As a federation, it works to ensure that education consultancy services in Nepal operate within ethical standards and align with national regulations and international best practices.

Through its institutional framework, FECE Nepal facilitates cooperation among consultancy associations, supports knowledge sharing, and promotes capacity development across the sector. The federation also plays an important role in representing the collective interests of its members in policy discussions, regulatory consultations, and stakeholder engagement at the national level.

In addition to its coordination role, FECE Nepal is committed to strengthening the credibility and professionalism of Nepal’s education consultancy ecosystem. By encouraging transparency, compliance, and responsible representation of international education opportunities, the federation contributes to safeguarding the interests of students while enhancing Nepal’s reputation in global education mobility.

To provide unified leadership for Nepal’s education consultancy sector by promoting ethical practices, regulatory compliance, institutional accountability, and professional excellence.

To position Nepal as a credible and globally respected participant in international education mobility through a well-governed and responsible consultancy sector.

Values

FECE Nepal upholds integrity, transparency, professional competence, and collaboration while prioritizing student protection and safeguarding Nepal’s reputation in global education mobility.

History and Formation

The education consultancy sector in Nepal evolved rapidly alongside increasing international education demand. Over time, multiple associations emerged to represent different segments of the industry. While these associations played important roles, the absence of a national apex body resulted in fragmented representation, inconsistent ethical standards, and limited collective influence in policy formulation.

Recognizing the need for a unified national voice, leading education consultancy associations and sector stakeholders initiated discussions to establish an apex federation. FECE Nepal was formed through collective agreement to coordinate associations, harmonize standards, and represent the sector at the highest institutional level.

The formation of FECE Nepal marked a strategic shift from fragmented advocacy to coordinated governance and national-level leadership.

Governance Structure

FECE Nepal operates under a structured governance framework guided by its constitution, bylaws, and internal regulations. The governance system is designed to ensure transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, and institutional continuity.

Decision-making authority is exercised through elected bodies, advisory mechanisms, and specialized committees. Clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability mechanisms are established to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure ethical leadership.

Affiliations and Recognition

FECE Nepal maintains formal recognition and working relationships with relevant government ministries, regulatory authorities, national institutions, and international organizations.
